Been busy and somewat not well coz of the crazy weather we have been having here. Blazing hot at times and chilly at others.
Its sorta caught hold of the whole college with ppl not wanting to work much.
My blog was caught in such stream.
Will write my next entry as soon as I get some apt material..

India won the T20 World Cup cricket
Enthralling atmosphere. Exhilarating cricket and scintillating moments of heart throbbing and mind boggling cricket over a span of abt two weeks.
Twenty Twenty Cricket saw its first world cup to be a huge hit |-O
Nothing compared to the fantastic cricketing atmosphere and the dug outs created for the players created more of a soccer environment.
But as ICC says the focus never shifted from cricket.
What have we, the funseekers to do wid wat ICC said so I come to the point now.
Where we enjoyed the game in college was superb atmosphere.
The starting game was screened only in the TV room wid ppl crammed and hanging on to nething/neone to catch a glimpse of the match.
That itself was worth an applause for the cricket crazy fans of the college who got crazier with the T20 outfit coming into picture.
As India advanced into the semis we somehow managed to get the matches screened at the Open Air Theater where the whole college could watch the match wid ease. It was a huge hit. Whole OAT was full and that in itself is a very big achievement considering the sheer magnitude of ppl it can hold.
Firstly the India Pakistan league match:
The crunch situation in the match. Pakistan needing mere 1 run of two balls and the ppl in TV room stood up. Result, more than 90% ppl present there cud not see the screen. Now it so happens that Sreesanth manages a dot ball and the scene comes alive as if the fans had sprung up from death ;)
Last ball wicket and its a tie.
People cannot believe it. What better result of an Indo-Pak traditional rivals in cricket. Here comes another resemblance of T20 wod soccer
The bowl out. 5 bowlers each side balls a ball each and tries to hit the stump. Similar case as in penalty. But no batsmen to get the ball past.
Surprisingly India chose 2 non regular bowlers much to the resentment of the fans present in ma college. Pakisatan chose there 5 bowlers as those who originally bowled in the match.
We were very much into thinking that Pakistan has made the right move just to be proven wrong.
India won the match 3-0 wid no pakistan bowler able to hit the stumps where both indian part timers hitting the wicket.
Result is that India moves into the Super 8 being top of the grp |-O.
After this match in the Super 8 came a shade of darkness in the Indian performance.
After a scintillating performance by the opening partnership the middle order failed to capitalise and it became a do or die situation for India in every match.India lost by 10 runs. A heart break for Indian fans and negative vibes begin to surface as ppl said India cannot make it to semis.
Up comes the game against England and what more could we expect.
An absolute jaffer of a match where India scored prolifically. Thanks to a gr8 opening stand by Gambhir/Sehwag and then in the end to an absolute gem of an innings by Yuvi. He became a heartthrob from heartsore in the span of 6 balls. His failures in the previous 2 matches were forgotten and ppl worshiped Yuvi. After all its not normal at all to hit 6 sixes in an over. The crowd ( me included obviously ) was dancing frantically in the OAT as we saw the over of poor Stuart Broad being dispatched to all corners of the ground.
India won the match and set up another do or die wid the hot favourites SA.
SA team was being considered as a clear fav for winning the WC. Having won the previous 2 matches agst England and NZ in the super 8 they were supposed to be going into the semis as the no. 1 team.
India had to beat SA to reach semis.
Group status b4 the match being NZ and SA winning 2 matches and India winning a single match with 2 teams going thru.
India came up wid such brilliant performance that SA batsmen were found wanting.
Result SA not only lost the match but lost it wid such big margin that NRR of NZ became more than that of SA and India NZ got into the semis.
The match was an absolute classic.
It was showcased initially at the OAT but due to rain we had to move to the small TV room.
Although this did not dampen our spirits at all.
Fans were running crazy.
dancing hugging and kissing (some must've ;) ). India had setup a clash wid undisputed cric champions of the World
The AUSTRALIANS.
The australians were taken by surprise as they were expecting to play SA in the semis. SA being out of the tourney was the biggest upset of the WC.
Up comes the Semifinal
India vs Australia
venue OAT @ DAIICT again :)
Indians had one all games batting first. One they batted second they lost.
On the other hand it was vice versa for Australia who had only succeeded in chasing.
India won the toss and batted first.
India posted up a decent total once again due to the blitz of Yuvraj singh who blasted the Australian bowling apart. Rain disrupted screening at OAT but we are smart and ready
we moved inside SAC :D
And hence saw the match there wid all ppl being able to view the match.
India won a spectacular victory wid Sreesanth giving Australians their own treatment. intense glaring and that too to Symonds and Hayden. 2 of the beasts in the cricketing world, I cannot even imagine getting close to them for the sheer fear. To actually stare in their eyes in such a manner deserves credit and the mighty Aussies were humbled by the exuberant Indians in this way. The public in the SAC went berserk.
India had set up a mighty India Pakistan clash for the first T20 WC.
Who wud have thought that India who were seeded 8th in the tourney will actually get into the finals.
On to the finals and India had nothing to lose except pride.
India had never lost to Pakistan in any form of world cup b4.
Even in the league matches they had somehow converted defeat into victory.
The match was what it was thought to be
another absolute classic. India posted a moderate total for pakistan.
A total easily chaseable under normal circumstances.
But it was an Indo Pak match and wat even more a WC final.
Pakistan came under pressure as Indian Bowling hero RP Singh struck straight away.
2nd over Sreesanth going for over 20 disheartened many indians but India bounced back with two excellent overs back to back.
Finally it came down to 12 runs of 6 balls.
A feat easily acheivable in T20. But prob for pak was that they had the last pair at the crease.
Their star batsmen Misbah still there.
Joginder Sharma had the over and Indian Fans had their heart in their hands.
Misbah hit Jogindar for a six and everything seemed down in the dumps.
We were emotionally ready for an Indian defeat.
But T20 never stops to surprise u. Misbah tried a fancy shot over short fine leg.
it was seemingly going over him but when the ball landed it landed straight into the hands of Sreesanth.
With this India had won the T20 WC.
At SAC what were we doing
celebrating wat else..
There was instant arrangement of music to dance to and ppl danced to their heart's content |-O
A tremendous contest on offer for the cricket lovers |-O...
We just had a bash :D

Janamashtmi ki ulti masti
The ultimate event for us the funseekers |-O
Janamashtmi as celebrated in ma college rocked aal the fun seeking late sleepers out of their beds and into the field.
Now u will be wondering wats such an attraction.
The answer is ultimate fun. Though hygiene lovers might have hated the event but ppl like us simply had a rocking time.
College organises a Matki Pod competition annnualy on janamashtmi.
Now for those who do not know matki phod I'd elaborate more.
The rules are simple. Their is an earthen pot filled wid milk hung in the mid air suspended from a rope. What is expected of teams is to form a pyramid and break that pot with the coconut provided. It might seem easy but its where the fun starts. the pyramid has to be formed amidst attacks of water, mud grass and wat not. ( Sharp and hard articles excluded obviously) The scene is so full of fun and the ground so full of water and skiddy that its not an easy feat to acheive.
The scene was very good wid ultimate weather to support the cause.
I had lots of fun throwing mud at others specially because I was not in any pyramid to get hit.
Can't think of ne better way to describe :(

How will 2days ravan be
A random thought came to my mind and I was like all giggles.
It was like what an idea ;)
I was thinking abt something totally different and suddenly it strikes me.
How will 2days ravan be.
The description coming to my mind was like this.
A handsome young man dressed in adi(or reebok/nike) jacket with levis jeans and Woodland shoes and a Ray ban goggles.
I am not a painter or a drawing expert else I would have loved to depict him with an image
but alas i am only a meagre student who is writing his blog ;)
what comes next
I thought that a significant deed of Ravan was to abduct Sita ji from panchvati on Laxman insulting supnakha (donno her name).
Now the story will be something like this.
Being the son of a business baron ( baron like Mallya) Ram was sent out of house coz he did not follow his father' footstep ( I mean no drinking etc :D ). He is happily married to Sita as in our very own ramayana and loves her. Laxman is a bit like his father but accompanies Ram only to see him in hardships.
Ram dresses in formals and looks kewl even in that :)
Laxman is ultra mod and dresses in jeans and Muscle tees
Now Supranakha is a bit old fashioned a takes a liking for Ram when overflying him on her chopper. ( She looks good )
She lands nearby on the rooftop climbs down and comes to the golf course where Ram is relaxing with Sita and laxman doing the leg pulling ( As 2days bros and sis do :) )
Supranakha tries to talk to Ram but Laxman seizing the opportunity corners her and takes her in the bushes where ram rescues her but somehow by accident suprankha new ipod get hit on her nose which causes bleeding :)...... That Ipod was a new gift from Ravana. She felt more for the ipod than her nose. Girls u know ;)
She is all tears and comes to her bro in her chopper asking for his help in retaliation.
Now Ravana is a pro hacker known worldwide for his activities and ppl fear him and pay hefty ransoms to preven hacking into their systems ;)
Guess wat ravan does.
Ravana hacks into the building of residence where Ram lived and gets hold of control over its lighting system.Also Ram's personal comp and the CC TV's. As soon as Ram forwards to make love he tripped the light and after a few incidents he gets frustrated and sleeps. Sita is angry on ram and opens up orkut on her pc :D. Ravana has taken a somewhat linking to the glorious beauty of Sita. He seizes the opportunity to take sita in his trap.
Sita opens her account to see a new scrap on top.
" U r bored of Ram now. try someone new "
She was shocked but still she opens up the account of the sender. Seing the photos of Ravana she is impressed. As soon as her expression of expression comes on her face she receives another scrap notification.
Opening up it reads .
" So I am handsome na. At least better than Ram "
She doesn't reply coz orkut is a public forum and Ram makes a lot of use of orkut.com.....
Next day same thing happens and Ram goes to check out the problem. meanwhile sita receives another similar scrap and this time she replies with her gmail ID so that they chat and the chat remains pvt.
Ravana comes to gtalk but suggests that they use yahoo instead as it allows for video conferencing. Sita gauges the situation and says that Ram can be back ne moment so video some other time. They chat for half and hr and Ram comes in. Ravana already told her that ram was coming so she had ample time to open other sites :D.
The next week went so. Ram felt a lot anxious at being left sort of alienated. though he rejects the matter thinking it trivial.
meanwhile sita had taken a strong liking for ravana. one day she sents off ram for some work and the duo had a nice video chat. Seing the charisma of Ravana, Sita is even more impressed.
Finally Ravana decides its time to meet and live together.
He tells Sita that when the fire alarm sets off, she should use the back door to come out and come alone without Ram. Sita agrees. So one day Ravana sets off the alarm for fire and she comes out of the back door to find that Ravana was their BUT
Ravana was handcuffed. There was a police vehicle and with the police was Rama.
It so happens that while searching for the fault rama had found out abt the hack of ravana and therefore decided to track him down. He had not mentioned it to Sita (luckily, not intentionally) and there he was bringing him to Sita to show her the culprit.
Sita expressed her shock, as if in disbeleif, but felt releived as Rama did not know nething abt their plan. She slaps Ravana and says a few words and authoritatively ordered the policemen to take him away for the cyber crime + privacy infringement. Ram says loving words to her and she willingly ( at least showing willingness ) goes in with him :P
Wats the moral of the story
Never fall for a girl, she can ditch u as she likes ;)
And moral no. 2 which Rama never learnt
For girls style matter more :P ( Not true u say :O)

My Birthday Party Bash
It was high time for my birthday party having got away first two years of college life due to vacations. As some people might know that a birthday party in an Indian college means a lot to people specially those who have grudge against you ;)
People were eagerly anticipating the arrival of my birthday. As soon as the clock stuck 12 I was escorted as if a celeb but then what follows can only be sustained by strong will and body. I was lifted up by my hands and legs and then started the onslaught. All people present attacked my hips as if they will get money just for hitting me or at least self satisfaction. Its not that violent as I am making it to be but it still is a hard time for the birthday boy. Unluckily its a tradition followed all over colleges and in some cases even schools.
After the onslaught I was coordially greeted back as if it was a purification process for all the bad work I did over the previous year of my life and then people again cordially helped me get up to let me stand. Mind u I needed support for it as it was a pretty decent beating but all out of care and love mostly rather than hatred.

It also includes my roommate being bashed as it is a tradition in my college. Sorry guys I could not confirm it but its certainly official in my college (official among students. of course not college admins :P)
Then came the cake and it was like whoa wat a cake
but alas I just got a small piece and rest was quickly snatched with a few pieces left dedicated for me. Not to eat but for my decoration. The cake was smudged all over my face and people took pics laughed and showed my face in the mirror. It was a horrifying and it took some time to realize that it was me.
Even after being through so much it was a very enjoyable night of my life and I will never forget it for the rest of my life( Not for the beating but simply for the emotions involved in my friends ).
Then came the party. It was postponed a few days due to some reasons I do not remember but it was a hell lot fun. Though it was only normal dinner for most outsider but the way we ate it made it different :D.
It was separate tables for vegetarians and non vegetarians where as usual I was in the vegetarian segment. The non veg dishes took so much time that the ppl with spoons in their hands were loitering around our tables to snatch pieces of food. It was like a catfight for food even when we ordered so much.
Finally in the dessert round where we ordered hot brownies with icecream it was like 3 ppl burnt their hands and almost all their mouth in a quest to gulp the maximum amount of brownie :D
I myself had two spoons in my hand and I used the two exquisitely to eat and also to prevent my mouth from being burnt as much as possible.
My Birthday experience was fun though I would have loved it to be much different than a plain dinner party.
Got no idea as ppl rejected the idea of a disque with 23 ppl and could not think much abt ne other place.
Ne suggestions for a birthday bash in Gujrat is welcome. I mentioned Gujrat coz its a dry state and u won't get liquor here :D
So all such ideas are automatically rejected :)
People were eagerly anticipating the arrival of my birthday. As soon as the clock stuck 12 I was escorted as if a celeb but then what follows can only be sustained by strong will and body. I was lifted up by my hands and legs and then started the onslaught. All people present attacked my hips as if they will get money just for hitting me or at least self satisfaction. Its not that violent as I am making it to be but it still is a hard time for the birthday boy. Unluckily its a tradition followed all over colleges and in some cases even schools.
After the onslaught I was coordially greeted back as if it was a purification process for all the bad work I did over the previous year of my life and then people again cordially helped me get up to let me stand. Mind u I needed support for it as it was a pretty decent beating but all out of care and love mostly rather than hatred.

It also includes my roommate being bashed as it is a tradition in my college. Sorry guys I could not confirm it but its certainly official in my college (official among students. of course not college admins :P)
Then came the cake and it was like whoa wat a cake
but alas I just got a small piece and rest was quickly snatched with a few pieces left dedicated for me. Not to eat but for my decoration. The cake was smudged all over my face and people took pics laughed and showed my face in the mirror. It was a horrifying and it took some time to realize that it was me.
Even after being through so much it was a very enjoyable night of my life and I will never forget it for the rest of my life( Not for the beating but simply for the emotions involved in my friends ).
Then came the party. It was postponed a few days due to some reasons I do not remember but it was a hell lot fun. Though it was only normal dinner for most outsider but the way we ate it made it different :D.
It was separate tables for vegetarians and non vegetarians where as usual I was in the vegetarian segment. The non veg dishes took so much time that the ppl with spoons in their hands were loitering around our tables to snatch pieces of food. It was like a catfight for food even when we ordered so much.
Finally in the dessert round where we ordered hot brownies with icecream it was like 3 ppl burnt their hands and almost all their mouth in a quest to gulp the maximum amount of brownie :D
I myself had two spoons in my hand and I used the two exquisitely to eat and also to prevent my mouth from being burnt as much as possible.
My Birthday experience was fun though I would have loved it to be much different than a plain dinner party.
Got no idea as ppl rejected the idea of a disque with 23 ppl and could not think much abt ne other place.
